Jumpin' on the Bandwagon

So I was looking at videos on YouTube on night- I love process vids of paper crafting and I found this thing called Pocket Letters!!! So I did more research and found this little network site with tons of others swapping out these adorable, creative things! So I joined up and jumped on the bandwagon and am LOVING IT!!!
Thanks to Janette Lane for coming up with this idea and the network. If you haven't heard about it check it out:

Starting Over

If anyone has ever told you to just start over with your life, think long and hard about it. It's not easy...

I moved my youngest son and I back home to North Carolina over the summer, packed up our house in Oklahoma put ooooh, about 90% of it in storage. Including all my entire scrapbook collection...damn it, I miss my Silhouette & Epson large format printer more than anything.
More than my shoes, my who-knows-how-many collection of hoodies & jeans!!!

Right now I have a VERY SMALL list of supplies at my disposal. Although I did go on a binge-haul of stuff I needed/wanted last night! I'm making do with what I have.
I used to be able to print my own pictures any size, make cutting my own handmade flowers a breeze and titles/alphas in any size and font were easy peasy.
Not so much anymore...it's tedious work. But I'm doing it. That's pretty much all I can say.
And with that I'm creating again. Some of the layouts I've done so far:

"#US-ie"

A lot of painting techniques on Smooth Textured Kraft CS. Used some washy tapes on the sides with some homemade -handrawn, handcut, tutorials from all over YouTube & Pinterest. Based on the November Sketch Challenge over at scrapbook.com

"If I Knew..." Using the November Kit from Scraps of Elegance. I'm so glad I subscribed to them again!! Made for the MUSIC CHALLENGE at Scrapbook.com
Used some modeling paste and masks/stencils, Gesso & acrylic paint over embellishments, doily from Michaels. Also I have some homemade alcohol inks/sprays/mists sprinkled all over.

"One Fine Day" using the November Kit again from SOE. I love this layout. Who knew scrapbooking was like riding a bike you never really forget!

Using homemade white glimmer spray on the Kraft CS and while using a mask to cover where I wanted the extra paper. This one was made for the NO PIC Challenge over at Scrapbook.com

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my creations. Comments are greatly appreciated, but not necessary.
Not only do I enjoy scrapbooking, but I also enjoy painting, art journaling and just creating!!
